Scientific Terminology

Today Mrs Raj did a few scientific experiments. From these I learned about the 3 state of matter that is solid, Liquid and gas. We did not know that ice could turn into steam when it was boiled. The difficult thing was to insert all the pictures from images.

1. Condensation
Definition: Water that collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it..

2.Evaporation
Definition: Evaporation is a type of vaporization of a liquid that occurs from the surface of a liquid into a gaseous phase that is not saturated with the evaporating.

3.What 3 state of matter
States of Matter. Gases, liquids and solids are all made up of microscopic particles, but the behaviours of these particles differ in the three phases. It form of water.

4.What is ice
Frozen water, a brittle, transparent crystalline solid Ice is water. Frozen into a solid state.




5.What is water.
Water is very important for life. We need water to drink, to wash our hands, to cook, to water plants and many other things. Water is a liquid runny water and it can hydrate. You can buy it from the shops and it sweat.

6.Water freeze into ice it melts into waters then it boil in steam. If you eat a ice cubes you might get a brain freeze.

7. what is steam
Steam is a transparent gas formed when water passes from the liquid to the gaseous state. Dry and wet steam.

8. what is gas
They get the vapour title when they are in a gaseous phase. You will probably hear the term “water vapour” which means water in a gas state.

special time with family

Last year on new year's eve we went to Maraetai. We went to all my family house and got them and they had to many bag to take with them to Maraetai. We were all just sitting down talking and playing on phone, laptop and I pad. I was playing on the I pad with my uncle. We were playing candy crush, subway surf and temple run. It was a long drive there so one of my uncles were sleeping and the back when the bus was driving.

It was raining when we got there there were people inside there vehicle people fishing and swimming and there were people living to go back home and come back if it not raining. So we got out our tent and build it up and we went inside but some of my family was still in the bus. Moment later we had a little feed before we swam in the ocean.

I was just relaxing in the tent reading my comic book and playing on my uncle I pad. My uncle came in the tent and told me if I am “alright”. I was so tired because I had a sore back so I just close my eyes and had a little sleep well my mum,uncles and aunt’s just have fun swimming well I just watch a movie that my uncle uploaded. So I watched horrors movies and more. Once when they came back we started to just put away the BBQ and tents and go to Manukau where my uncle live. Went there and his house was pack. We had dessert and we played on the trampoline so we only allowed 5 kids on the trampoline. One of us played on the computer. We played subway surf again and again until we lose. So the next thing I went is the toy room. The toy room have a lot of toys there are cars, dinosaurs toys posters that is on the wall and more.

We started to go home because it was getting late and it was almost midnight and every one started to say I want to stay and I did that too. But in less I had fun with my family.

Measure my height and foot lenght

We learned to measure in M, Cm and Mm. I measured my foot length and it is 27cm . My height is 164m.
My height is 6 times than my foot length

It says that people move from places to places they know how to speak in that language don’t teach them how to speak in that language just leave them. Tongan peoples moved to New Zealand to have a better place but when people speak in English and they don’t know you teach them.

when I did not know how to speak in my culture my grandma teach me how to speak in Samoan. She was keep on teaching me until I know how to speak. I want to know how to speak in other languages so I know how to speak in everything.

Today we have been comparing Seoul And NZ so NZ and Seoul. Both of that countries has different things so we have been concert Seoul and NZ.  

Glenbrae School long 4 weekend :)

Instead of having 3 days off we had 4 days off. Why?because on Monday it was Queens birthday and on Tuesday it was Teacher's only day. So on Saturday me and my mum went over to east Tamaki to why not to buy a lollies bag because on Monday it was my birthday too and I was getting so exited because I was turning 10 years old and my mum was so relive because I have no single number. I know I had two digit numbers and that was good because I was waiting all year for my birthday on 2015 and it happened just now.

Once when finish shopping we had to go to the gas station and fuel up the car because our car had know gas when we got there. The next day we woke up and I told my grandpa if he can make me breakfast for my birthday present and he said yes and I was getting to happy because I told him what I want for breakfast and I said can you make me a bacon and egg with toast. I went to sleep for the big day. Do you know? I woke up and it was my big day it was my birthday my mum woke up and said happy birthday and I forgot it was my birthday and I went with my brother, grandma and mum to get my cupcake in botany and get my cake in Henderson. So went to botany to get my cupcake and we went through these big houses and we got lost because my grandma's friends house was to hard to find because all the other houses look the same as my grandma's friends house. We went around and around the whole houses again and again and we were getting frustrated and we just drove straight down and once we went past the house and we reversed, and we got the cupcake and we headed down to Henderson to get my cake and we went to Green lane to the McDonald to buy us some frozen cokes so we went straight down back home and we had to get organized I was watching TV finally my mum said we can go and pick up Fasi and her sisters to take to extreme bowling.We had to go to the gas station to pump up our tires.

once we finished pumping up our tires we went straight down to bowling we went inside we were excited because there were a lot of games we can play and my favourite one was the basketball hoop game. We went to the line and it was packed we were waiting until we went to the next line. We got our cards we had to pay so we they can put money in the card to swipe. We took turns and it was “ all right “. We were playing but we only swipe it on the green insert swipe. I was worried because I really want to play the basketball hoop game. I looked I took my card I swipe it and it worked Look and it was green. I almost fainted when I was relived to play the game my score was 126 and my highest score that I “ BEAT “ my score and that was 104. We started to look at the time it was time to play bowling we got our bowling shoes and I told everyone if they were ready to go up to the bowling lane and they all said yes so we went up and we were trying find our names and it was and lane 11. My name was up first and I got my bowling ball and I always hold with to hands because when I bowl the ball it goes fast enough and knock all 10 pins and I get a strike. So it went me first than Dora, Tauloa, Fasi and finally my cousin Atlas but my cousin name says my Uncle name and that was really odd because his name was post to be Atlas so my cousin just want to play on it because he didn't participated with us so we let him played.

You can see in the front cover you can see Amelia that on the left Litia, Salesi and me on the right hand. My friend Alex was taking the photo because he was the photographer that the person that take the photo. So relax get out your popcorn and drink and enjoy the slide show that me and my group create.

Balloon game Recount

Balloon Game Recount

One lovely, sunny morning, Room 7 students went for fitness. Our teacher Mrs Raj blew up a blue balloon so we could play a Balloon game. The girls went and ran around the court twice, while the boys were playing a balloon game. We held hands to make a circle, Mrs Raj threw up the balloon in the middle.

The balloon went really high, it came to me first and went everywhere, we
heard the balloon it went “Swish” everywhere the balloon went really fast it even went on a plant. T
We all had been moving around but we were still in the circle and hitting the balloon to keep it in the air. I almost fell down. I hit the balloon upwards with one hand, and my other friends had hit the balloon around and continued the game.

My friend Vainikolo had hit the balloon and suddenly he fell over I asked him if he was alright and he said "Yes". We went back to class I was exhausted and I was too lazy to go back to class because my arm was hurting from holding hands.

  4. Yes I agree because in the text it says in the text that i can what is the writer feel to me.


Danny bravery medal

On this medal of mine I made I add a sun.The sun mean that is a really special engagement when you do not get injured you get a sun in your medal. The moon mean in night you have to train you get this medal with a moon in it it mean you have been working hard on your training. The storm mean you have to be brave if you get into a big fight and you get punch on the face and if you don't cry that mean you are toughing up. the cloud mean when it is raining some people have to do 100 push up for long. The red crosses mean you have to stop when your coach or mum say so.

Yes I agree with this statement” because if people and I would say something silly to make people sad angry and upset because you are not polite to others.
My actions are kind of bad because I'm not focusing well on my work because I always talk too much, but I'm listening a little bit I am confidently and an active listeners. 

The most important rule is the 5 poles of respect that help you with all the learning and respect you have to learn. 

Property-if your mum or teacher tell you to pick up your bag you pick it up straight away.

Others- when you play with your friends and you bully them you are not looking after others.

Learning-When you tell your teacher that you are going to finish of your work and you have to do it straight away.

Environment- when you pick up someone else is jacket and it says someone names and you have to return that jacket to that person that you know. 

Self-When your mum tell you to do something like do the chores and if you do not do that chores you will be in big trouble.


Some people do not listen to their teacher they usually just do anything but I sometime listen to the teacher and I sometime do my work and listen what the teacher saying. By doing this it will show a lot of respect for your action and the way you speak and it will help you.
