Glow in the dark information

My information report is all about glow in a dark. I’m talking about how toys glow in a dark. Glow in the dark always satisfies little kid as well. Glow in the dark is such a wonderful toy to gift over to a kid, it’s because kids have time to look at the amazing, satisfying.

Glow in the dark is sold in store, there are really cheap glow in the dark set of toys at the store. But unfortunately they don’t produce much glowing. Expensive products shows good progress and better quality. It depends on how the product are made,

Glow in the dark has heaps of ingredient and chemicals to form glow in the dark. There is glow in the dark stickers that you can stick up in the ceiling so in the night when everything is dark you get look up at the ceiling and have something for you to look at.

Natural phosphors are in your teeth and finger, it glows after absorbing energy from black light. Zinc Sulfide is great mixing into plastic to make glow in the dark toy. Strontium aluminate is really expensive, glow sticks works by chemiluminescence. It mean that light is produce as a chemical reaction.

Matariki Explanation writing

 

Matariki is a signal of the Maori New Year, it’s the renewal and the celebration in New Zealand. This symbol’s the seven sisters or known as the pleiades.

Matariki is a star cluster which appears in the night sky in mid winter. Also Matariki is not known as a constellation it’s known as a star cluster. There are over 500 stars that are in space, the stars looks like they are close together, but actually they are far apart when you are in space. There are only 6 or 7 stars that are visible for us to see from Earth. They are Tawhirimatea, Tupu-a-rangi, Waipuna-a-rangi, Waiti, Tupu-a-nuku, ururangi, and waita.

The relative teenage stars were born together in a nebula at about the same time. Nebula is a cloud of dust in space, some other nebulae are where stars are being born. The young teenage stars is blue, they are much gigantic than our Earth sun. Blue stars are the hottest, yellow are medium hot and red are cooler.

The foggy white that is surrounded around the seven stars can be seen with a telescope. The hazy light that is connected to the stars together is the nebula. Matariki is not on the same day every year, Matariki is usually celebrated some years. It’s because from our perspective Matariki is behind the sun.

Around the whole entire world matariki is name after plenty of culture. The Greek name is the Pleiades, in Japan it’s called Subaru and in china it it Mao. The Maori use the stars and the moon for calendar, each phase of the moon signal the Maori to do their favourite thing, example planting and fishing.

Argument writing. Fenchurch Liquor store.

For my opinion I think Fenchurch liquor store should be banned. It's affecting people who are living around our community.

The liquor store is next to many schools. Young college students can just go and buy a box a beer. If college students buy beer at your liquor store they can drink and drive, that could lead them to have accidents on the road or get a fine.

Residents are getting affected by the liquor store, especially younger kids. Young kids are following the footsteps of adults. You liquor store is very open and young kids can just walk in and be exposed to alcohol galore. I think that your liquor store should be transformed into another shop.

People who drinks alcohol can cause  fight. Residents that lives across the road can give notes about noise complaints. The illegal age that allows people to buy alcohol is 18 and over, but I think it's a good idea if people don't drink and also buy beers. To prevent these people to stop drinking alcohol is to ban Fenchurch Liquor store this can make our community more safe.

I finally made it..... (Narrative writing)

One day there was a boy named “Josh”, he has a black hair, wearing a red tracksuit and a black running shoe. He was trying to accomplish a goal, Josh joined a marathon. The marathon was “tomorrow” he said, he wanted to come 1st in that marathon because he want to show people that he is good.

The next morning he was at the marathon, Josh was very scared that he won’t make it half way. Josh and the other competitors were ready to run, the horn went off. Josh was jogging on the start, the other competitors were off sprinting. Josh was just taking his time thinking he will catch up with the others, he sawed a bunch of people puffed out. Josh was angry at the people for sprinting off, he said to himself “Why did they run to fast”. Josh just jogged away from the competitors.

An hour later, Josh was 1 km away from the finish line. Josh was puff out from the longest run he have ever experience, Josh was sprinting he was passing other people, he tripped over. People just ran passed him like nothing happen, Josh was yelling in pain. Medical people came and try to sought out Josh, the medic people said “He needs to come of the running track”, they picked him up on the stretches. Josh said Is my leg in a really bad condition”, the medic people reply “Yes”, Josh was shocked. He made a goal to make it to the finish line.

Josh just ripped of the belt from the stretches, limping his way towards the finish line. The medical people rush towards Josh, they were telling him to “Stop, your are in very bad conditions”. He just ignored them and limped his way to the finish line. People was cheering him on, “Let go Josh, let go Josh”, as they cheering him on, Josh was 5 metres away from the finish line. He didn’t know what to do, yelling “Ouch” as he was limping. He finally made it towards the finish line, people was yelling “Yayyyy”. He started to cried, he was crying in tears of joy, but at the same time he was in pain. Josh got rushed to the hospital, the doctors said “If you didn’t ran towards the finish line you wouldn’t been in critical condition”.

The next day, Josh got was alright to go back home. He ranged up his wife to pick him up at Waledale hospital. Josh was relief that he made to the finish line yesterday afternoon, Josh went home if a happy smile.

I heard a whisper (Narrative writing)

One day there was one boy named Sonny. Sonny was in the forest and he was sitting down reading his book. Sonny was reading his book in peace, until he heard something crawling around him, he didn’t care what was happening. Sonny heard whispers from the bush, he was very concerned that it was a little mouse whining.

30 minutes later, someone starting yelling his name. He was scared and he started running back to his car. He got lost in the middle of the the forest. Sonny was looking for his phone. He just realized that he left it where he was sitting. Sonny was yelling as loud as he can, but no one could hear him. Sonny heard someone whispering “I am coming”. Sonny was paralysed, he didn’t know what to do. He could hear someone talking at the back of the bushes. Sonny was yelling out as loud as he could so he can get someone’s attention.

He was raising his voice with tears coming down. The whisper started to come back, yelling “Sonny where are you”, his heart was pounding. He could hear someone walking along the pathway, Sonny was yelling “HELP, HELP, HELP”, someone was running towards Sonny. He jumped up and tried to run towards that person. Sonny was yelling and yelling, until he found that person that was looking for him.

Sonny was relief that he found someone to help, but he wasn’t to happy. The whisper came back through the bush saying “I’m still here”. Sonny was telling that person to run. They both started running, the whisper came back saying “I’m coming to get you”. Sonny didn’t care, he ignored the whisper and ran straight to the parking lot. After some time Sonny and the stranger started to get along with each other, the stranger introduced himself, his name was Fergo. he was an` olympic winner for 1989, 400 meters sprints.

Sonny was noticing whispers coming everywhere again. He was freaking out, Fergo was asking him if he was okay, Sonny had no response back. Sonny was running away from Fergo, he got into his car and “Rammmm” away. Fergo got furious with Sonny, so Fergo just walked away like nothing happened. Sonny was calmed, he was also terrified of what happened. After some hours Sonny relaxed in his lounge, he felt like sleeping, but he didn’t want to dream about what happened today.

The next morning he woke up, he was underneath his blanket with a cramped leg. Sonny got out of bed and he was doing his morning routine. Sonny was late for work, he was happy as he was going to work and he is no terrified anymore.

Special place in our community (Writing)

As you can see I had to chose a special place in our community, I’ve explained what I’ve chosen, why I chosen it and how come I go to that special place. I’ve putted a lot of effort into doing this.

After we’ve finished doing our writing we’ve had to get a partner to check our work and highlight a word or sentences as well as add a comment so our partner can identify why this word it highlighted. When our partner finish fixing up their work they had to swap netbooks so they can give our writing a score by using rubrics. So my score was 40 and that is 5A.

The reason why I’ve chosen the Basketball courts because I always go there to play with my friends and just have a blast. There is another reason why I’ve chosen the Basketball courts is because I get to practice some new skills before I verse my friends on a Basketball sessions.

The Basketball courts is very close to my house, as I walk to the Basketball courts I find it easier to walk because it’s not really that far. I like to go there because I get to practice alone instead of anyone bordering me. The people in the community come and play at the same Basketball court as where I’m playing at, the worst thing is that I don’t like it some people come and hog the Basketball court to themself, it’s like they are the owner of the Basketball Court.

After school If I have time to play outside I will make my way to the Basketball Court so I get practice. The name of the area where the Basketball court is “Fernwood”, as everyone come and bond at the Basketball court is very fun and amazing. I get to play with more people instead of having to get sweaty and still play with the same person over and over again.

The Basketball court is very important to the people around the community because it has a very expensive hoop and they might get stolen by a robber. It is very valuable to the neighbours around the Basketball Court  because they are like bodyguards and they can play on the Basketball court whenever they want.

My Career (Basketball)

My Career is based on shooting balls in the hoop and having to cooperate with each other, it’s a type of sport where you team up and of cause it’s “Basketball”. Basketball is a wonderful sport where a head coach coaches the team so they can be a successful player when they play.

The person that inspired me to play Basketball is “Julian Newman”, he shows that he can play very well as well as a good trainer. Julian Newman started playing Basketball when he was 3 years old, he is only 16 years old and he is so incredible in his career, he plays for the Varsity Basketball team at Downey High School in Orlando Florida. He has 1 sibling name “Jaden Newman”.

He is a very good professional Basketball player and he is trying to make his way into any of the NBA team, he is trying to confront that he is good in front of LaMelo Ball. LaMelo and Julian is trying to have a game against each other before they both go into the NBA.

My Career is going to be good for me in the future because I can earn heaps of money and the world will see my talent and skills.
