Speed stacking champ.

There 3 world fastest speed cup stacker's, there names are William Polley, Steven Purrengence and even Michael Haig. They made a record of 333, 363 and even the cycle.

When I started getting use to it I was watching this video about because I was just clicking on random things. When watching the video I got some speed stacking cups online. I order it and 2 days later it came threw the mail in this huge package. Inside the package there was cups not drinking cups speed stacking cups, a timer and this nice matt.

I started stacking but I wasn't use to stacking cups but in 9 weeks I started getting use to stacking the cups and even I was stacking the cup really fast like a lightning bolt.

I was happy to see the package with the things I order online and I also got a record of 5.45 second.

Prize-giving on Tuesday

On Tuesday morning glenbrae students all came In dresses and some came In tuxedos and all sorts of clothes. We then had to go to our class rooms to take the roll and walk down to the hall so we can be seated.As we were waiting  for all the parents to be seated then we will get started with the program

and first we started with a song then room 9, 8 ,10 certificate then did another song some students did good In our class and I am happy for that.The same as the other rooms they done well and had made their families proud.

Next we went on to the juniors and they had also made there families proud they have all achieve what they needed to achieve to get higher marks In there reports.after the year 8s had to stand next to the stage so that room 9 will fer well as as we go to collage next year.As we have spent  memories here at Glenbrae school we finally starting a new journey In collage.Well next we had morning tea and we get to have morning tea with our families well Me and my siblings had morning tea with my older sister.We had morning tea for 15 minuets and played around with friends families and more people you just met.Well we then went back In side and danced to show our parents what we have been learning In the hall and that Is "Dancing" I was shy to dance but I just thought In my head do for the people that came here today to see you perform On the dance floor. We had something called W.A.L.T I'm not a fan of that one we also have Sumbar that's with a friendship hold which was okay and last was Hip Hop my favourite one out of all I think that because It has cool movies and all sort but yeah I like that one more than the others.

When we were done we had lunch then same a usual the parents were taking a lot of photos of there proud ones which was cool. Next Year Here We Come to school again.

On the first picture of the planets is Saturn. Did you know that Saturn name came from the Roman of god. The second piece of the planets is Mercury. People think that Mercury look like the Moon when they look at is my it not it just the light inside Mercury. The third is Jupiter. Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar system and also Jupiter has a ring like Uranus and Saturn. On the fourth one of the planets is Uranus. Uranus is the second only planet that blue. And the last one is Venus. Venus is the second hottest planet because it is near the Sun.

This is some of the planets but there are meant to be 8 but I had no time to put all the planets on but there are still planets there.

My reflection

This year I did my learning with Mrs Parker and Mrs Raj using a netbook using Google Drive.

Having a netbook made it easier to write on it instead of writing on refill paper because when I write on the refill paper or our writing or reading book it makes my hands painful and that is why netbooks are better to learn on.

This year I learned how our bodies work, learning about the Solar system and even how to treat our school with respect and tidiness.

I did research on Saturn, how does Saturn rings spins, where did Saturn get its name from and also if there is any aliens on Saturn.

The thing I enjoyed learning about the most was our bodies because I didn't know that our bodies is like a machine and the blood goes around our body and it was interesting trying to learn.

I still want to learn more about how planet earth created because on the internet it says nothing about it, it just said that God created Earth but I don't know if he did or was it the Roman Gods that created Earth.

The class trip. I enjoyed most this year was to Motat because there is lots of olden day things over there. There are trams and this old train with a big muffler pointing in front of the train.

I am proud of the way I behaved this year and was smart enough to listen to my teacher and the rest of the teachers.

Next year my goal is that I am going to be a good boy, be really creative with all of the thoughts in my head from this year but next year I am going to be a really smart boy and be the best boy in the whole school so let's see.

Fruit eaten by Room 7

The most popular fruit on my graph was strawberry because most people in Room 7 ate strawberry cause it small not large or thin.

Writing with figurative language

We had Whittaker’s chocolate because we want to know the taste of the flavour on our tongue.

When we started to open up our chocolate Mrs Parker told us her own chocolate tart that she made out of Whittaker’s. When Mrs Parker showed us her famous chocolate tart she told us that the person that made the Whittaker’s chocolate and they email Mrs Parker and said this chocolate tart was the best tart we have ever seen with our chocolate Whittaker’s that person and Mrs Parker was so shock that she got that email.

When we put it our Whittaker’s chocolate on my tongue we had to leave it on and let it melt mount on our tongue. So when I left the chocolate on my tongue it felt sticky, good smlimey and really really crunching like the crunchiness is trying to go between my teeth and breaking my teeth and that scary

When I tasted the chocolate on my tongue I was thinking about Charlie and the chocolate factory because do you know how Charlie was letting all the kids have the sweets stuff and I really wanted one but my dream came true when because I was letting the chocolate mount on my tongue and making it come down my tongue like a chocolate waterfall.

I would create a flavour that with Oreo and milk and it would taste like the cadbury chocolate factory and people might buy my chocolate and the people might get my recipe and take it and use and I would be happy because they like my chocolate and I would become famous forever and that would be my chocolate creation.

I have done a writing about Samoa cyclone. I won't talk through the whole thing because I think you just want to read it and yeah here it is I used Google drawing to do my creation.

Our event on Friday

On Friday it was Tamaki College last they with us becuause they are on holiday next week and that why we played with the coach. We got separated in groups. Next we went onto the field divided our student and coacher's

First we got set up and then we started to start the game. The game was called moon ball it was sort of like rugby but you had to bold over people with the huge ball it was so fun but some of us got hurt.

At the end of the game we got lollipops and then we played army game it was sort of like bull rush but they got to say army and then you're in with them. Oh I forgot to say there names the boys from Tamaki College. The boys name was Sio and Ben they were looking cool.

After when we finished the game we got told to come back down to the court. We went down to the court we went to class and we started to get our lunch.

It felt cool to play those games we got 2 lollipops in the end.

Omg tech trip

A Trip to OMG Tech

On a Saturday, a fine day, some of the glenbrae students got chosen to go to OMG Tech. It is where we build robots. We are going to do 3D printing, coding, and fixing stuff. Only 20 people got to go. We went by bus. The bus was called riche.

In the bus there were only nineteen people because one person was away. We drove from lebron circle to the

city. It was a long drive. By the time we got there, there was a lady called Michelle Dickinson that showed us glenbrae students, around OMG Tech.

There were activities for us to go to, and also there were other schools there too. The first activity I did was the 3D printing. Its when you go in the computer and build your robot. When you are finished print it. It takes long to print out what you have created.

Our information about Saturn

• The size of Saturn is 10 time larger than Earth in diameter.
• The surface of Saturn is liquid and gas because if you are on a spacecraft and you land on Saturn you can feel the ground solid and also it does not have much metallic hydrogen as the largest planet, Jupiter.
• If you weigh 100 pounds on Earth you would weigh 107 pounds on Saturn.
• Saturn is larger than the Moon when it is in the sky with the Moon.
• Saturn has other chemicals on Saturn and it also has water`

• Saturn is the sixth planet in the Solar system and, when seen through a telescope, by far the most beautiful.
• The planets goes in order like this Mercury, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
• Saturn is the last planet that can be seen without using a telescope or binoculars and the planet was known in the ancient world before telescopes were invented.  The rings, however, can only be seen using a telescope.
• The rings were first seen by Galileo in 1610 through a telescope.
• Saturn has at least 18 moons, satellites which orbit round the planet attracted to it by the planet’s gravity.
• Saturn is the second largest planet in our solar system.
• Saturn is named after the Roman God of agriculture
• Saturn has the lowest density of all the Planets in the solar system. Saturn is 6 planets away from the Sun and it was the Roman name for Cronus.
• Saturn has seasons because it is tilt on a 27 degrees angles and it is compared with Earth's one it is 23 degrees an angle.

Our google expedition

On Tuesday we went down to Room 3 down in the juniors to do some google expedition. When we  inside Room 7 saw these goggles with some phones inside the slip. Once when Mrs Parker told us the rules we went up and got the view mask, but once when the teacher put on the picture you can look around but you can not see anyone beside you.

Once when the teacher went on the tablet she put the picture of the  volcano. We were looking at the volcano. I looked below myself and it looked like I was going to fall down, but I wasn't falling down for real. Mrs Parker told us everything about the volcano. Mrs Parker said to us that some volcano are active and dormant. So when the volcano erupts the ashes can spread out in the sky. If this happens you can’t go on a plane, because the pilot can’t see where they're going in the sky because of the ashes.

Once when we were finished the world trip Mrs Parker told us that we were coming back to the world trip in the afternoon. So a couple hours later we went to room 2 because another class was using room 3 for the google expedition. Mrs Parker was sorting out the table. We were just looking through the goggles to see if there was anything popping up but we were still “waiting for the teacher”.

Once when the teacher finished sorting out the tablet we saw the Hiroshima memorial where the bomb happened about 70 years ago back in 1945. Hiroshima is in Japan.  Mrs Parker told us that the building in Hiroshima was collapsed by the bomb. We were almost finished but 6 people, including me, went to the Principal's office to get a notice for Saturday’s trip and that was all for today.

I liked the google because there was a phone in the slip, which became the screen. I really enjoyed myself, seeing all the sights around the world and it was cool doing it with my friends.

Season are cause

[Title/ question] What causes the season?

[Define] Seasons happen throughout the year and include Autumn, Winter, Spring & Summer.

[Describe:

• In Autumn: It sometime cold in Venus, Earth and Uranus because they all have seasons and it is also tilted.

• In Winter it is really cold if Saturn was tilted all the way down to 30 degrees angles it would make Saturn really cold.
• In Spring if Earth get tilted it be really hot because it is changing the temperature and it will change the angle or tilt of Earth.

[Explain] We have these seasons because you won’t know what would the planets looks. Would it look like it is so pale and it won’t looks the same now.

Our Stardome trip.

Last week Thursday our senior School was so lucky because we get to go on a trip to Stardome. Firstly in the morning we went down to the hall because we just had a little assembly for the senior School before we go for our trip on 10:00 o'clock. So once when we're talking about the things we have to do in Stardome. Miss Elia our Principal called a class one at a time so we can hop on the bus.

Once we got there we had a little morning tea. Once we finish having morning tea we went inside Stardome and putted our bags inside the cage. We were with Room 8 when we went inside the (Space Room). Once we had a seat there was a lady in the space room and she said that she is going to be our educator. We watched and listen to her what was happening and she said that we are going to learn about the sun and why does Earth travels around the Sun and even more.

So the educator told us that the Sun travels around the Sun because there will not be any day light for Earth. Every morning and night the Sun rise and the Sun sets every time because half of the Earth is night and the other half of Earth is day light. Did you know that a lighting bolt is five time hotter than the Sun because when it thundery the lighting strikes fast and inside the lighting bolt is some flames and it is like the electric wire when it connect together there you go is is electric and you can not see the flame inside the lighting bolt.

After the space room we went to the movie room. Once when the movie started there were two kids there name was Mike and Anna. They wanted to discover but once they think they shrink and they get to fit inside Mike is little toy space ship. They travel to Fiji and they sawed the sun that was going to set. So they finish their vacation and once when that was finish we left the room and we went and had lunch where we can eat and play. Once we ate and play we went in the bus and went back to School and that was the coolest trip ever.

The clouds were covering Venus. There is not life on Venus and that mean there is no countries like Earth. There are no life on Venus like there are no trees, building and seasons because Venus is the second hottest planet in the solar system.	Swamps under the clouds of Venus. Venus is beneath the clouds where the endless ocean is. There is a floating islands. On the island there is oceans and wave as high as mountains. Venus has no clouds or anything because it is so blank that mean it has no life and that is true.

Imagine you are a science fiction writer and have gone forward 30 years into the future. Tell us what the world is like. What can your phone do and what is the transport like? [Write 1 paragraph]

In 30 years our phone will be funky it will has human beans eyes in the screen. The transports will be floating in the sky and the tire will change into a windmill so it can be going down to the ocean like a submarine. There car will look like a human bean but it just have a hood with some lights on top and a chair too. And 45 people fit inside the car because there are 50 seats in the car.
