Why was the treaty needed?
1.The British want our land/ Want NZ
2.Working for more emigrant to come to NZ
3.They want food and house
4.They want the Maori weapons
5.They wanted animals
That all the things that the British wanted from the Maori people after the Treaty was signed. Also the Maori cutted down the flagpole at Russell, 4 years after the treaty was signed.
Hey Danny, I really love how you put a image of the treaty getting signed. I really loved how you used wrote down facts about why the treaty was needed and the best thing was is how you wrote down the things about the British and the Maori. You have to work on putting on more details about the treaty of waitangi and use your more facts about the why the treaty was needed.
