EXAMPLE
Seoul is a small town in Korea
Agree
Seoul is a large noisy city that has ten times the number of people living in it than NZ has in the entire country

New Zealand Schools are the same as schools in Korea
Disagree
South Korea school has sand grass and they take their shoes off when they go in the hall and in our country NZ we have bark conquer, bark and dirt. They have more things like a karate temple a nice park and tall buildings similar than NZ.

In New Zealand we have nice people that don’t fight much we have malls motorways that sometimes pack we building that people build for us and a lot of basketball hoops and more lots and a lots of things

Immigrants have wonderful things to share with us as well as learning ‘how to be kiwi’
agree
In this text it says that grandad was saying to the mayor to mine his own business so he knows what he is doing and know how to be kiwi.

Some things about New Zealand are harder to get used to than others.
agree

It says that people move from places to places they know how to speak in that language don’t teach them how to speak in that language just leave them. Tongan peoples moved to New Zealand to have a better place but when people speak in English and they don’t know you teach them.

when I did not know how to speak in my culture my grandma teach me how to speak in Samoan. She was keep on teaching me until I know how to speak. I want to know how to speak in other languages so I know how to speak in everything.

Create a venn diagram to show (compare and contrast) the differences between life in Korea and New Zealand.   TEMPLATE

  • Make one circle Korea, the other New Zealand. Where they overlap in the middle write the things that are the same.
  • When you have finished remember to make your Venn Diagram look nice! (Colours, Fonts, Layout)
