ANZAC Heroes

Thursday 23 April 2015
Our Teacher Mrs Raj read us a really sad story called Jim's letters. It was written by Glyn Harper and illustrated by Jenny Cooper. She read us that Tom was sending letters to his brother during WW1. Jim the brother was also sending letters about the war back to his brother Tom and spoke about his experiences at war. Jimmy got killed and Tom wrote his last letter to Jimmy but he kept it with all of Jimmy letters and read them over and over again.
Tom was very sad and Mum and Dad were so devastated on hearing that Jim died in the war in Turkey.
