grandpa what did you did in the war

WALT: Make conclusions about how characters are feeling throughout the text.
SC: Complete a timeline showing grandpa’s feelings with the addition of pictures.


Grandpa, What did you do in the war Poem by Jeff Cook


The writer has written the poem about remembering his time in the war.
The poem has 9 verses. A verse is like a paragraph but used in poetry and lyrics.

Verse 6 /on the first story of verse 1 the child said what did grandpa did in the war and grandpa got all emotional and started have tears.
Verse 7 /grandpa skin got all creepy.
Grandpa said he was crawling through the mud back in the war he had a nightmare and he was full of terror.
Verse 8 /He said again what did grandpa did in the war and he was still causing pain but they brought back the horror.
Verse 9 /Grandpa vision came back but he was still telling the story what happen in the war he said that he was tramping in the jungle,hot stinking with leeches and flies.
I felt so sad because grandpa was getting so emotional.
on verse 2 I had a terror in my eyes and was scary.
I was getting so mad  because the grandson has been causing pain
grandpa was on a boat overseas and he was sea sick
