Maths for today

Today for Maths we've learnt to put fractions into decimals. We've received fractions such as tenths, hundredth and thousandth.

Here are the equation and the answer that I've done:

Tenths:
9/10 = 0.9
10/10= 1

Hundredths:
60/100 = 0.60
72/100 = 0.72
42/100 = 0.42
98/100 = 0.98

Thousandths:
56/1000 = 0.056
560/1000 = 0.560
648/1000 = 0.648
976/1000 = 0.976

Here is the spear works that I've done:

0.56 = 56/100
0.72 = 72/100
0.156 =156/100

Ham Burger

Today we cooked Ham burger, me and Riza-Dee followed the skill for the week.

Here is the skills of the week:

1. Follow the instructions step
2. How to read the ingredients
3. How to measure the ingredients correct

Here is the ingredients:

1. Toast the bun
2. Slice tomato + Lettuce
3. Mix mince with pepper, salt, mix herbs.
Fry until cooked
4. Put the filling inside the burger

Spaghetti Polognaise

Today our class was cooking Spaghetti Polonaise, we had a fun time cooking and it was yummy at the same time

These are the ingredients:

1. Boil spaghetti with 2c of cold water, drain cold water
2. Fry meat ball until cookied
3. Dice onion, garlic and fry until soft
4. Add the sauce, meatball, cheese and sphagetti
5. Cook the food
- Serve it on plate.

Ham & Cheese

Ham & Cheese French toast.

Today at Tech we cooked Ham & Cheese French toast. My group and collaborated together to follow the ingredients and cook as well as we can. My group was suffering cooking, but as it was coming towards the end we've got the hang of it.

Here is the Ingredients:

Step 1- Cut the Crust (We've cut the crust of the bread, so we can fry it and use it as fries)
Step 2 - Whisk 5 eggs with one cup of milk
Step 3 - Tip the bread in the in the egg mixture
Step 4 - Fill in the cheese + Ham seal all the edges with the fork
Step 5 - Fry with the butter

After cleaning up our disaster in the kitchen, we ate some delicious meal that we've cooked. Such a yummy meal.

Price Water Cooper

Today we had 6 volunteers from PWC (Price Water Cooper). We had one volunteer, his name was Lee. We were reading a book "ToiToi", it has heaps of story that kids illustrated and written from around New Zealand. We read a text that was about a girl talking about Maori Language. They were complaining that Te Reo Maori language should still be known in New Zealand.

Lee was an amazing volunteer. He was talking about his child hood, we learnt that his dad has been saving money for Lee to get in Kings College. My group had a blast with Lee, we were talking about what were are doing in life and how he is a chill guy.

Cooking Butter Chicken

Today for tech Riza-Dee and I was cooking butter chicken.

Ingredients:


  1. Dice the onions, and fry it on the pan
  2. chicken, put salt, 13 c flour, add to the onion
  3. Add the sauce, add sugar if it taste sour, serve it with rice.
