Performance in the hall

Today for Assembly every student from my school went to the hall for Assembly. My class RM7 lined up and waited for our teacher to come. Once when the teacher came we went straight down to the hall because we were late for Assembly.

Once we went inside the hall we all sawed RM5 on the stage. We went and sat down with the rest of the classes on the floor. The announcers in front of the stage stand and announce the first thing that RM5 doing. Telesia announce that RM5 is doing a performance. They were doing the Watch me whip and nae.

They were battling against RM8 and everybody were pump. I was thinking who will win and I definitely think it will be RM8. Let see who will win the battle. RM5 did a lot of dance and that was awesome. They were doing fine and a lot of people done cool dancing. After that it was RM8 turn and they were doing the same thing called watch me whip and nae nae.

I was pump because I want RM8 to win. Firstly RM8 sang a Maori song just for 30 second. After they sang the song they have done the nae nae and it was so awesome because I liked the break dancing. They dance battle was over and the winner was no one it was a tie and the dance battle was over.

Persuasive Text

Heading: In basketball you can play inside or outside at the basketball court somewhere near your house or in the city. Basketball is terrific because you get to dribble the ball. Netball is awesome because you can’t move but you have to pass the ball in 3 second.

Reason 1:I play basketball because it good for my health and it keep me fit. I am also in netball because it really enjoyable and it just really creative with fun.

Reason 2:I got chosen to be in basketball because I am so tall and I can do some dunk to make me strong. I can ran a little bit fast but I got the strength to stop people from shooting the ball inside the hoop.

Reason 3:Netball make you get more friends if you introduce yourself to them and you can start to talk to each others to be friends and you will start to be happy.

Conclusion: I like to play netball and basketball because you can shoot balls in the hoops you can defend people on netball and basketball you have to block the people that trying to shoot the ball.

Where:Me and my basketball team went down to Glendowie court to play basketball and it is across where Sacred Heart is. We were waiting for the other team to come so we can vs them. We were practising before the other team come. The other teams came and it was PT England school that came. We were so shock because we never vs PT England School before. We were playing and playing until we won the game: I will tell you our score and our score was 35 and the other teams had 13 and we were so glad to win.

Playing netball

Today I was looking ford to stay back in school because we were doing our netball training from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. We were just staying there for 1 hour before we go back home. I went and look on my right to see if anyone was on the court joining in with us. I sawed about 30 or more there on the court with the teacher.

I went on the court and I saw Telesia running up to the court. I thought that I was the only year 5 there but some of my friends from class came and walked up to the court too. I put away my bag and we year 5 were watching the year 6 to 8 doing a passing game before we joined in. Some of my friends went with the in the line with the year 6.

We were with Mrs Tofa because she told us that the year 5 go and run down to the last court. But we did not went straight to Mrs Tofa the other teacher told all of us to run around the court just once but sprinting around before we go to Mrs Tofa. We went down to the last court where the playground is with some of the kids on there.

I was not participating with them But I get to be a year 6 boy. I was being wing defence and that mean you have to block the people that going to pass the ball. We were playing and playing before we went to the first court to vs the year 6. We were playing and then went down to the first court.

I get to be the wing attack and that was cool. We got no points but the year 6 got 7 or 8 on there shooting but that alright because we are still going to practice more and more until were get it right. I had fun playing with the year 6 because it was my first time being the wing attack.
